I liked what he had to say. The problem is that I'm still not in love with WCW. I like his longer pieces a bit more, but his shorter ones leave me a bit cold. (I like the plums in the icebox, but the red wheelbarrow never did it for me. Perhaps because of my bad high school and college experiences...). I guess, ultimately, less interesting for me. Not badly written. Not unskillful. Just...less interesting. Less for me to grasp at???

I don't know. I'd suggest you try reading all of Spring and All sometime, now w/ the past bad experiences behind you. It's fucking brilliant.
