I miss the Pushcart deadline. Again.

I am the worst fucking editor ever. I barely have any responsibilities at all. Why don't I have a calendar? Why don't I know when the damn deadline is? Why would the deadline be at the end of the month? How stupid would that possibly be? Why don't I have artwork done? Why do we still not have business cards? T-shirts? Or patches of some kind?

Does anyone need help reading submissions?
We're supposed to put out an issue soon.

I'm lightyears behind. Anything that's in the Issue 5 folder, and is marked unread, is up for reading grabs. Just let me know what decisions you make, etc. I'd like to know before emails are sent out. Otherwise, you're a lifesaver.

Lucky.

I'd give a lot to be unemployed.

But I will also start refocusing my energy on alice blue this week and see what I can't get through. I've read a lot, but we've shattered the inbox with the number of submissions we've gotten. Especially when you consider the thirty or so I deleted for not following our submission guidelines.

I have no patience for idiocy anymore.

Will's done that to a few. We talked about it some. He has no patience either. I kind of don't like the idea, but whatever. I'm not the one doing it. And our instructions are pretty damn easy to follow. We give examples and everything.

Well, that's what the submission guidelines are for. I'm much bitchier about the people who send multiple documents instead of single documents. And if they only send one or two poems. If they get the "subject line" wrong...sometimes I dump 'em and sometimes I don't.
