Le Petit Good-ing

I finished Gudding's essay and found myself taking notes along the way. I figure, once I collect my thoughts and make sense of my opinions, I'll struggle through a "verbalizing" of said conclusions here.

First impression, however...a little incomplete...

Well, I don't really have enough time to actually write my response (since I have to be at work at 7), but generally speaking you can't find anything to disagree with because everything so far is just reporting what other people believe. And while you may not believe what other people have believed, there's little to disagree with there. Most of his assertions are made at the end of the essay (the very last section, very last couple of paragraphs). Otherwise, it's more like reading a report than an essay with a thesis that he's trying to support.

Which is why I think it's incomplete. And actually, I think it's ass backwards in some ways. But I also could be wrong. I read it in several different sittings while at work.
